SUBJ: UNIFORM DISTRIBUTION CENTER (UDC) OVER THE COUNTER SALES CESSATION
1. Effective 1 Feb 2020 the UDC will no longer provide over the counter (OTC) sales at the Woodbine, NJ location. The UDC has experienced a nearly 80 percent decrease in OTC sales following the launch of online sales and the assurance of availability of uniform items via the web and CGX stores.
2. Options for uniform purchases after this date are to create an account and log into WWW.SHOPCGX.COM, visiting your local Coast Guard Exchange store or calling the UDC at 1 (800) 874 6841.
3. Commands are encouraged to ensure widest dissemination of this ALCGPSC.
