1. Training Center Petaluma is proud to host the 46th Annual NORCAL Basketball
Tournament from 27-29 March 2020.
2. The objectives of this tournament are to exhibit sportsmanship and team play, develop a respectfully competitive spirit, and highlight our Service members’ athletic talent.
3. This will be a double elimination tournament under the National Collegiate Athletic Association Basketball rules, with modifications to length of games. The tournament is limited to the first 16 teams with paid entry fees. If a minimum of eight teams have not registered and paid by the deadline, the tournament may be cancelled. In accordance with Ref A, all MWR eligible patrons (active duty, reserve, auxiliary, retired, or civilian) are eligible for the tournament, but teams must be comprised of at least 50 percent active duty members. Teams must have a minimum of eight players and a maximum of 15 players, plus two coaches. Team awards will be presented to the first three teams, with members of the first and second place teams also receiving individual awards.
4. There will be a Free Throw and a 3-Point Shooting Contest on 27 March 2020 at 1630. Awards will be presented to the top two contestants in each event.
5. Entry fee is 275 dollars per team. Entry fee payments should be made payable to USCG TRACEN Petaluma MWR.  Checks may be mailed to Commanding Officer,
USCG Training Center Petaluma, 599 Tomales Road, Petaluma, CA 94952, Attn: Sara
Stansell or via credit card by calling TRACEN Petaluma MWR at (707) 765-7341.  Entry payments are due no later than 11 March 2020.
6. Limited berthing is available at TRACEN Petaluma on a first come, first served basis, to include guest lodging and RV camping spaces at the lake recreation area. For information pertaining to TRACEN Petaluma guests lodging, contact the lodging office at (707) 765-7610 or for information pertaining to RV camping and lake recreation area, contact the MWR Ticket Office at (707) 765-7341.
