SUBJ:  PROMULGATION OF THE COAST GUARD SPOUSES’ CLUBS INSTRUCTION

1. This ACN announces the promulgation of REF (A). REF (B) is hereby cancelled.
2. Major policy changes to REF (A) are as follows:
   a. Clarification of the ombudsman’s role in Coast Guard Spouses’ Clubs.
Ombudsmen must not serve as a spouses’ club officer (president, vice president,
secretary, treasurer, or in any other spouses’ club position) in any military
branch spouses’ club or equivalent association,
   b. Updates of websites, references, and Federal Plain Language Guidelines.
3. There will be no hardcopy distribution of this revision. An electronic version
