Coast Guard medevacs man 1 mile east of Jekyll Island
CHARLESTON, S.C. — The Coast Guard medevaced a 52-year-old man Tuesday from a fishing vessel 1 mile east of Jekyll Island, Georgia.
A Coast Guard Station Brunswick 45-foot Response Boat – Medium crew transported the man to Morningstar Marina where EMS was waiting.
At 11:12 a.m., Coast Guard Sector Charleston command center watchstanders received a request for a medevac from the fishing vessel Lady Jeanette for a crew member experiencing chest pains.
