A. GUIDANCE AND ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR OFFICER PERSONNEL BOARDS AND PANELS,

B. ALCGOFF 071/19 AY20 SENIOR COMMAND SCREENING PANEL (SCSP)
1. This message announces a published update to reference (a), now PSCINST 1401.1B. 
2. Several commands have updated screening criteria. In line with leadership goals 
to further talent development and management, PSC worked across DCO and DCMS 
directorates and prudently eased screening criteria be more inclusive and open the 
aperture for the opportunity for command. 
3. All officers submitting to screen for command on the upcoming AY20 Senior 
Command Screening Panel (SCSP) or AY20 Junior Command Screening Panel (JCSP) are 
encouraged to review their eligibility. Reference (b) announced the procedures and 
deadline for AY20 SCSP. In light of the updated command eligibility requirements, 
the deadline for SCSP panel submissions is extended to 28 JUN 19. Candidates who 
have already submitted to screen may resubmit if they find they are now eligible 
for additional commands and wish to compete.
4. An update to reference (a) also stipulates that officers already selected for 
promotion or officers in or above zone for the upcoming promotion year may screen 
only for commands at the next higher rank.
