1. Training Center Petaluma is proud to host the eighth annual NORCAL Golf
Tournament.  The competition will be held in Monterey, California, on 20-23 May 2019.
2. The objectives of this tournament are to exhibit sportsmanship and team play, develop
a respectfully competitive spirit, and highlight our members’ athletic talent.
3. The tournament will consist of four rounds of golf in the Monterey Bay, CA area. The
courses consist of Carmel Valley Ranch, Poppy Hills Golf Club, Bayonet, and Black
Horse.  The tournament formats will be a net four player better ball and an individual net
tallied over the four days. All MWR eligible patrons (active duty, reserve, auxiliary,
retired, or civilian) are eligible for the tournament.
4. Players may enter the tournament as a team or individually. Members of the winning
team will receive individual awards and have their names engraved on a perpetual
NORCAL Trophy to be housed at Training Center Petaluma. Individual awards will also
be given to the low net champion and golfers who win longest drive and closest-to-the-
pin competitions at each course.
5. Entry fee for the golf tournament is on a sliding scale and is available through the
tournament directors. Entry fees cover green fees and carts at all four courses, awards,
and a banquet at the Bayonet/Blackhorse Golf Course at the conclusion of the final
round.
6. Entry fee payments shall be made payable to USCG TRACEN Petaluma MWR. 
Checks may be mailed to Commanding Officer, USCG Training Center Petaluma, 599
Tomales Road, Petaluma, CA 94952, Attn: MWR Ticket Office or via credit card by
calling CG TRACEN Petaluma MWR at (707) 765-7580.  Credit card is the preferred
method of payment.
7. Registration and payment deadline is 19 APR 2019.
8. Lodging, transportation and meals for this event are at the expense of each golfer. 
9. Interested individuals or teams should request a registration form by contacting the

10. Administrative absence for this tournament may be authorized for military members
in accordance with Ref (B), subject to Commanding Officer approval and current travel
directives.
