Coast Guard rescues 2 jet skiers near Port Isabel, Texas

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Coast Guard rescued two jet skiers near Port Isabel, Texas, Friday afternoon.

During a routine patrol, A Coast Guard small boat crew from Station South Padre Island encountered two jet skiers and an overturned jet ski.

Both people were rescued and taken to Sea Ranch Marina two miles east of Port Isabel along with the jet ski. 

Both people were wearing life jackets, and there were no reported injuries.
