1. On 16 July 2018, the Public Affairs (PA) A school list will be temporarily
closed to new prospective students to manage ever exceeding waitlist times
due to recent revisions in workforce projections.
2. PSC-EPM-2, in coordination with CG-126, FORCECOM, and the PA Rating Force
Master Chief (RFMC) will re-evaluate the list closure utilizing updated
workforce projections on 6 month intervals.
3. Members currently on the PA 'A' school list (especially those in the
bottom quintile) and members considering waiting for the list re-opening
are encouraged to discuss with their Chain of Command potential impacts to
careers, including meeting professional growth points and High Year Tenure.
4. Unit COs and OICs along with the Gold and Silver Badge network and
Chief's Mess are encouraged to distribute this message throughout the
non-rate community for maximum visibility.
5. PSC-EPM-2 will communicate updates thru future ALCGENL and/or A school
list notes posted at reference (a).
