SUBJ: OFF-SEASON CDR ASSIGNMENT SOLICITATION FOR NAVIGATION CENTER COMMAND STAFF 
1. A potential off-season assignment opportunity exists for a CDR
to serve as the Executive Officer, Navigation Center (NAVCEN), 
Position No. 00036408 with an estimated report date of 01 Sep 2018. The officer 
selected for this assignment should expect to be tour complete in the 
summer of 2021.
2. Interested officers should submit an e-resume by COB 22 Jun 2018.  
Requests for consideration must include a command endorsement addressing 
backfill requirements and acceptability of a potential gap. Members in 
receipt of orders in AY18 may also be considered for this assignment. 
Members unable to connect to Direct Access may request this assignment 
and submit endorsement via email.
