SUBJ:  NOVEMBER 2017 SWE EARLY ADVANCEMENT AUTHORIZATION
A. Enlistments, Evaluations, and Advancements, COMDTINST M1000.2 (series)
1. This ALCOAST announces early advancement authorization off the November 2017
SWE Eligibility List.
2. In accordance with REF (A), CG PSC-EPM is authorized to advance personnel to fill
vacancies using the November 2017 SWE eligibility list once a rate on the May 2017
SWE eligibility list for E-5 and E-6 is exhausted.
3. In these cases, personnel appearing on the November 2017 SWE eligibility list
who would normally meet the time in grade and sea duty requirements by 1 July 2018
will be granted a waiver of those requirements for the purpose of advancing earlier.
This waiver applies only to those personnel appearing on the November 2017 SWE
eligibility list.
