Tricare Enrollment Freeze Bulletin

Greetings!
Please see the attached bulletin from Coast Guard Headquarters regarding the Tricare Enrollment Freeze. This bulletin is from November 8, 2017, but includes pertinent information in regards to the freeze. Additionally, Ms. Nelida Lazu (Tricare Representative at Sector San Juan) stated that if any dependents returning to Puerto Rico changed their enrollment from Tricare Overseas while stateside, they will need to visit her office to fill out a new enrollment form to change it back to Tricare Overseas. The paperwork will be submitted and once the freeze is lifted, the dependents will be enrolled back into the Overseas program from the date the form was signed.
