SUBJ: HALF MASTING OF NATIONAL ENSIGN
A. U.S. Coast Guard Regulations 1992, COMDTINST M5000.3 (SERIES)
1. As directed by the President of the United States, the national
ensign shall be flown at half mast until sunset on November 9, 2017,
as a mark of respect for the victims of the shooting in Sutherland
Springs, Texas that occurred on November 5, 2017.
2. The national ensign shall be flown at half mast on all Coast
Guard buildings, grounds, and vessels not underway.
3. Internet release authorized.
