CHARLESTON, S.C. — Members of the media are invited to attend the Coast Guard Cutter Willow’s homeport welcoming ceremony Monday at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Charleston.

Media will need to be vetted prior to the event in order to access the secure facility and are asked to contact the Coast Guard Public Affairs office for additional information.

Media must RSVP by noon Sunday with Petty Officer 3rd Class Ryan Dickinson at 904-714-7610 or Ryan.J.Dickinson@uscg.mil

The Willow, a 225-foot Juniper-class seagoing buoy tender, has replaced the Cutter Oak which departed Charleston in 2015.
