Media Advisory: Coast Guard Cutter Willow to hold homeport welcoming ceremony

WHO: Screened members of the media
WHAT: An opportunity for media members to record footage of the Willow’s homeport welcoming ceremony and to conduct interviews
WHERE: Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, 2000 Bainbridge Ave., North Charleston, SC 29405
WHEN: Monday at 1 p.m. Media interested in participating are asked to arrive at FLETC by 12:30 p.m.
CHARLESTON, S.C. — Members of the media are invited to attend the Coast Guard Cutter Willow’s homeport welcoming ceremony Monday at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Charleston.
Media will need to be vetted prior to the event in order to access the secure facility and are asked to contact the Coast Guard Public Affairs office for additional information.

The Willow, a 225-foot Juniper-class seagoing buoy tender, has replaced the Cutter Oak which departed Charleston in 2015.
