Coast Guard updates port status for Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, Ponce, Mayaguez now open with restrictions

MIAMI — The following is a port condition update for the ports in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

San Juan, Puerto Rico - Open

Guayanilla, Puerto Rico - Open

Tallaboa, Puerto Rico - Open

Salinas, Puerto Rico - Open

East and West Gregerie Channels, St. Thomas - Open

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas - Open

Frederiksted, St. Croix - Open

Limetree Bay, St. Croix - Open

Arecibo, Puerto Rico - Open with restrictions

  • Daylight transit only
  • Draft less than 15 feet

Fajardo, Culebra, Vieques, Puerto Rico - Open with restrictions

  • Daylight transit only

Guayama, Puerto Rico - Open with restrictions

  • Tug/barge only
  • No deep draft vessels
  • No vessels greater than 500 gross tonnage

Mayaguez, Puerto Rico - Open with restrictions

  • Daylight transit only
  • Draft less than 28 feet 

Ponce, Puerto Rico - Open with restrictions

  • Draft less than 38 feet

Yabucoa, Puerto Rico - Open with restrictions

  • Daylight transit only
  • Draft less than 37 feet

Red Hook, St. Thomas - Open with restrictions

  • Daylight transit only

Cruz Bay, St. John - Open with restrictions

  • Daylight transit only

Krause Lagoon, St. Croix - Open with restrictions

  • Access facility through Limetree Bay Channel
