Coast Guard captain of the port reopens port of Brownsville
HOUSTON - The captain of the port has reopened the Port of Brownsville Saturday.
The port was reopened at approximately 10 a.m., by Capt. Tony Hahn, the captain of the port and incident commander for the Incident Command Post for Hurricane Harvey in Corpus Christi.
The Coast Guard continues to warn the public to stay in their safe haven and not venture out until their county official deems the area is safe from danger and flooding.
