Coast Guard seeks public's help in search for missing mariner
Update: Bryan Halligan returned home safe this morning. All search and rescue assets have been stood down.
SEATTLE — The Coast Guard is seeking the public's help to assist in the search for Bryan Halligan, a 52-year-old male that was last seen leaving his home to the Harbor Village Marina in Bothell, Sunday.
The man was expected to be attending Seafair activities aboard his 17-foot white Bayliner with blue and gray vinyl seats and a hull number reading WN1793NV.
Watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector Puget Sound were informed early Tuesday morning of the situation of Halligan and directed the launch of an Air Station Port Angeles MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew and a Coast Guard Station Seattle small boat crew to continue the search for the missing man.
The Coast guard is seeking any information that would lead to the whereabouts of Halligan to contact Sector Puget Sound at 206-217-6001 or your local law enforcement authorities.
