HIGH WATER SAFETY ADVISORY:
MORGAN CITY PORT ALLEN ALTERNATE ROUTE
MM 37.6 TO MM 45 BAYOU SORREL AND THE 
LOWER GRAND RIVER
 

As a result of the Bayou Sorrel river gauge reading 6.4ft and falling, the COTP New Orleans has rescinded a safety advisory in accordance with the Waterways Action Plan Baton Rouge Annex:

MM 37.6 to MM 45: Bayou Sorrel Lock and Waterway, the Lower Grand River

All restrictions have been rescinded.

This Marine Safety Information Bulletin supersedes Volume XVII, Issue 035 High Water Safety Advisory: Port Allen Morgan City Alternate Route/MM 37.6 TO MM 45 Bayou Sorrel.
