VIDEO AVAILABLE: Coast Guard medevacs man, 35, from fishing vessel 90 miles east of Savannah

CHARLESTON, S.C. — The Coast Guard medevacked a 35-year-old man Friday 90 miles east of Savannah, Georgia.
Coast Guard Sector Charleston Command Center watchstanders received a call at 12:30 p.m. via VHF Channel 16 from the 45-foot fishing vessel High Voltage stating a crewmember was suffering from abdominal pain.
A Coast Guard Air Station Savannah MH-65 Dolphin rescue helicopter crew launched arrived on scene at 2:35 p.m. and transported the man to Savannah Memorial Hospital at 3:39 p.m.
An HC-130 Hercules search plane crew from Air Station Clearwater aided in coordinating in the medevac.
