Coast Guard to establish safety zone for Miami Beach Air and Sea Show

The safety zone for the Miami Beach Air and Sea Show will consist of the waters of the Atlantic Ocean starting from approximately a half mile east of Collins Park, then directly south approximately 3 miles to the government cut north jetty, west to the shoreline South Pointe Park and north along the shoreline to Collins Park.  

MIAMI – The Coast Guard is scheduled to establish a safety zone during Memorial Day weekend for the 2017 Miami Beach Air and Sea Show.

The safety zone is scheduled to begin Friday at 8:30 a.m. until Sunday at 5 p.m., while aircraft and show boat crews are performing or practicing. No vessel or person will be permitted to enter the zone without obtaining permission from the Caption of the Port Miami or a designated representative.

The zone will consist of the waters of the Atlantic Ocean starting from approximately a half mile east of Collins Park, then directly south approximately 3 miles to the government cut north jetty, west to the shoreline South Pointe Park and north along the shoreline to Collins Park.
