PHILADELPHIA-- Rep. Tom MacArthur met with Coast Guard Sector Delaware Bay leadership while visiting Coast Guard Station Barnegat Light to learn about the station's capabilities for search and rescue as well as law enforcement in Barnegat Light, New Jersey, Friday.

MacArthur discussed the capabilities of the Coast Guard in the Delaware Bay area of responsibility with Capt. Benjamin Cooper, commander, Coast Guard Sector Delaware Bay, as well as Chief Warrant Officer Paul Ashley, commanding officer, Station Barnegat Light. MacArthur was given a tour of the station's facilities, operational capabilities, as well as a boat ride where he was given an instruction of operating the Coast Guard 47-foot Motor Life Boat.
