ATTN: ACE Entry Summary Filers and Software Developers
The following fixes to ACE Entry Summary Validations will be deployed to ACE Production on Wednesday, April 16, 2013:
• In a scenario where an article is classified under 9802.00.60 or 9802.00.80, ACE was incorrectly calculating the formal 499 MPF amount.
• In a scenario where the declared country of origin is a current member of the CBERA trade program, ACE/ESV was incorrectly concluding that MPF applies. If the declared country of origin is a current member of the CBERA trade program, the article is MPF exempt (an SP claim of ‘E’ does not have to be made).
• Also fixes to resolve some of the ‘ACE SYSTEM FAILURE’ cases will be deployed.
