ACE Outreach Events
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will NOT be deploying ACE Deployment A on October 5, 2013 due to the lapse of appropriations and subsequent emergency furlough.
Deployment A includes the following:
• ACE Cargo Release Pilot (also known as Simplified Entry) expansion
• Entry Summary Validations for Harbor Maintenance Fee and tariff classification
• Partner Government Agency (PGA) Message Set pilots
CBP is monitoring the situation for developments and will continue to do so until funding is put in place to re-open the government. CBP is ready to deploy and will ensure the Trade Community receives advanced notification of any decision to deploy.
