CBP has posted the most current ACE Development & Deployment Schedule and Stakeholder Backlog to cbp.gov for your reference. The deployment schedule is based on the development plans for completing all core trade functionality in ACE within the next 3 years. The plan proposes 7 major deployments over the coming 3 years. The plan now includes the following mandatory dates:
• May 1, 2015: Mandated use of Manifest – All electronic export and import manifest data must be transmitted via ACE.
• November 1, 2015: Mandated use of Cargo Release – All data associated with the release of cargo, including PGA interactions, must be transmitted via ACE.
• October 1, 2016: Mandated use of ACE.
The 3 documents, development schedule, deployment schedule and stakeholder backlog, have been posted to CBP.gov at the link below.
