CBP and the Partner Government Agencies (PGAs) are working to make the Single Window to Government for trade transactions a reality. Read more about the initiatives currently under way: http://cbp.gov/linkhandler/cgov/trade/automated/modernization/infographic.ctt/infographic.jpg
ACE will become the Single Window, the one system that the trade community uses to report imports and exports, streamlining what is now a largely paper-based and manual process. Other benefits include automated interactions between PGAs enabling near real-time decision making, reduced costs for business and Government, and the ability for agencies to obtain data quicker to identify unsafe, dangerous, or prohibited shipments.
