On August 14, 2012, CBP published a Federal Register Notice announcing further expansion of the pilot test of Simplified Entry (SE) for the Air Mode of Transportation. Attached for your reference are both the initial Simplified Entry Notice, published on November 9, 2011, and the subsequent expansion Notice. Please consult the attached documents for explicit eligibility requirements and program participation details.
Please note that Remote Location Filing will not be supported at this time, however CBP is working to include RLF in future Pilot deployments.
Applications to participate in this test must be received by CBP by COB September 4, 2012.
