CSMS # 69289734 - Implementation of Entry Type 13 Test in ACE for U.S. Mail Processing (INT-057) and Mail Entry Type 13 Test (CBP-290) – Deploying to ACE CERT Environment on July 24, 2026 and to ACE PROD Environment on September 22, 2026
On September 22, 2026, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will deploy the Implementation of Entry Type 13 Test in ACE for U.S. Mail Processing (INT-057) and Mail Entry Type 13 Test (CBP-290) enhancements to the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE). These enhancements implement Federal Register Notices (FRN) published by CBP on June 24, 2026 (Test of the New Electronic Informal Entry Process for Mail and Indefinite Suspension of the De Minimis Exemption for Merchandise Arriving Through All Modes Other Than the International Postal Network) by implementing the test of Entry Type 13 (ET13), a new entry type for submitting U.S. Postal Service (USPS) international mail shipment data. This update includes impacts to electronic data interchange (EDI).
These enhancements will be available in the ACE Certification (CERT) environment on July 24, 2026, and will be deployed to the Production (PROD) environment on September 22, 2026.
