SUBJECT: Public Notification of Applications Received to Operate a Centralized Examination Station Solicitation at Port of Kansas City, MO.
PURPOSE:
This Information Bulletin is issued to inform the importing community of the applications received from interested parties to be considered as a Centralized Examination Stations (CES) for the Port of Kansas City, MO. and invite the public to submit any relevant written comments concerning the applicant(s).
BACKGROUND:
Two (2) applications to operate as a CES were received by U.S. Customs and Border Protection at the Port of Kansas City. The applications were received in response to Information Bulletin No. 4501-25-009, Trade Information Network (TIN) #66982299, dated 3 December 2025, which announced the solicitation of the CES selection process for Port of Kansas City, MO. The solicitation period commenced on 3 December 2025 and expired on 1 February 2026.
The Port of Kansas City received two (2) applications for consideration to establish as a Centralized Examination Station (CES). As outlined in Information Bulletin No. 4501-25-009, Trade Information Network (TIN) #66982299, only one facility has met all pre-requisites for selection.

The trade community is encouraged to provide comments in writing regarding the CES candidate. It is essential that the CBP/CES committee possess all information that should be used to assess the applicants’ suitability during the evaluation process.
Public comments regarding the CES applicant must be received by the Port Director no later than Friday, 6 March 2026, which is thirty (30) calendar days from the date of the issuance of this Information Bulletin.
