This Public Bulletin is being issued to notify the importing community that U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is now accepting applications to operate a Centralized Examination Station (CES) in the Area Port of St. Louis area and to provide guidelines for the application. The initial phase of the process will consist of a 60-day application period, or "open season." Public comments are also invited. The Port Director is required to issue this Public Bulletin pursuant to 19 C.F.R. §118.2.
