CSMS # 62284627 - 301 Ship to Shore Crane Certificate Designation

Per USTR’s FRN, there will be new requirements for 301 Ship-to-Shore Cranes Certificate Designation.

There will be a new Importer’s Additional Declaration Type Code 10 (301 Ship-to-Shore Crane Certification Designation) on the 54-record that will be required when the Entry Summary line is accompanied by an Importer Certification for ship-to-shore cranes. Additionally, there will be new validations. Please see the attachments for the details of the new record and validations.

These updates will be deployed to the Certification and Production environment on September 26, 2024, with a September 27, 2024, effective date.

The ACE CATAIR Entry Summary Create/Update and Error Dictionary will be updated and another CSMS will be issued once it is posted to CBP.gov.

The Document Image System XML Implementation Guide will also be updated to include a new certificate (Agency Code = TRP; Doc Label Code = 301STS_CERT; Doc Code = TRP03). A CSMS will be issued once it is posted to CBP.gov.
