CSMS # 61753384 - Update to ACE CERTIFICATION and PRODUCTION Deployment Dates related to U.S. Department of Agriculture, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS)
Based on feedback from the trade, some of the upcoming changes to the APHIS Core business rules will have a transition period of implementation to production.
Below is a list of the specific APHIS rules and the plan for how they will be addressed and deployed:
APH_APQ_042
- 702 will remain as a valid PG10 Category Code (APHIS Article Category)
- See below for deployment schedule
APH_APQ_033
- FRC will remain as a valid PG10 Commodity Characteristic Qualifier
- See below for deployment schedule
APPENDIX PGA/APH_APQ_009
- In “APHIS Characteristics – Fruits and Vegetables (Physical State A61)”, FRC, FRF, and SHR will remain valid values
- In “APHIS Characteristics – Fruits and Vegetables (Physical State A71)”, FRC and FRF will remain valid values

APHIS Core is updating their APHIS Core PGA Message Set Implementation Guide and that will be published as soon as possible.
