CSMS # 61511127 - DIS Enhancements for Vehicle Document Submission Set to Deploy August 22

On August 22, 2024, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will deploy enhancements to the Document Image System (DIS) to facilitate vehicle-related document submission via Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). These enhancements will apply to EDI document submissions for both import and export vehicle-related transactions. As a reminder, today importers and exporters can use DIS to submit vehicle-related documents to CBP via EDI. This deployment will enhance the existing capabilities.
