CSMS # 61482999 - Updated Cargo Release Implementation Guides for Section 321 – Does Not Exceed $800 in Aggregated Shipments, including July 25 Deployment of ET86 Estimated Date of Arrival Requirement

Three ACE Cargo Release implementation guides were recently updated for the upcoming Section 321 – Does Not Exceed $800 in Aggregated Shipments deployment, which will be in two releases.

Release 1 (Cargo Release Only): Requirement for the estimated date of arrival for all entry type 86 (ET 86) submissions in ACE (SE20 EDA).

Updates for Release 1 are reflected in the following two documents.

The Cargo Release CATAIR document was updated with changes to the SE20 record and Update Action Table. The Cargo Release CATAIR is posted under the Chapters: Current Capabilities tab on CBP.gov.  https://www.cbp.gov/document/guidance/ace-catair-cargo-release-chapter

The Cargo Release Error Codes document was updated with a new validation rule 265 for master house bill mismatch with manifest.  Additionally, rules 284 and 286-288 were added. Release 2 (Cargo Release, Manifest and Truck): Validation to enforce $800 daily aggregated threshold for de minimis shipments:
