CSMS # 61117624 - ACE Portal Modernization: Maintaining Importer Email Address Information for CBP Form Notifications

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) offers electronic notification to importers and brokers of CBP forms issued through the ACE Forms tool. CBP obtains importer contact information, including the email address used for electronic notification of forms, when a trade user registers an importer of record or requests a CBP-assigned number in the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE).

For importers, the email address used by CBP for electronic notification may be viewed in the Additional Information section under the Details tab in the Importer account. However, to change the email address used for electronic notification of issued forms, importers must edit the email address listed in the Contact Information section within the Street (Physical) Address information under the Addresses tab in the Importer account.
