CSMS # 60298283 - Addition to ACE Truck Response Codes and Notifications

The ACE Truck Manifest ANSI X12 350 Message and Truck Manifest CUSRES Status Notification Message Implementation Guides (IGs) were both updated with changes for future use that relate to the Section 321 – Does Not Exceed $800 in Aggregated Shipments.

**Trade and Software Developers that submit via the Electronic Data Interface (EDI) will need to program and test their software to incorporate these changes.**

The updates to the IGs include updates for the Section 321 notification to trade when unreleased bills are retroactively removed by the system due to the consignee exceeding the daily $800 maximum.

ANSI X.12 Truck Import Manifest IG - 350 Customs Status Information:

Under Section X407 – Disposition Codes, a new valid event code 92: Section 321 BOL removed from manifest was added for future use.

UN/EDIFACT Truck Import Manifest IG – Standard Truck Manifest Customs Response (CUSRES) Status Notification Message

Under the ERC (0650) segment C901:9321 section a new valid status notification code SN514: Bill of Lading removed due to violation of Section 321’s maximum daily value of $800 by Consignee was added for future use.
