CSMS # 58759631 - Update to CATAIR Entry Summary Create/Update: Clarification to the Shipment Usage Type Code

Please be advised of the following update to the CATAIR Entry Summary Create/Update v89:

(A) Added clarifying comment: If Shipment Usage Type Code ‘P’ is indicated on an Informal Entry > $2500, the Bond Waiver Indicator field should also indicate ’0’ Bond waived/no bond required.

The updated CATAIR is available under the Chapters: Current Capabilities tab on CBP.gov (ACE Automated Broker Interface (ABI) CBP and Trade Automated Interface Requirements (CATAIR) | U.S. Customs and Border Protection).
