CSMS # 58627708 - Agriculture Marketing Service (AMS) Upcoming Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) Code Updates for Kiwifruit, Oranges and Onions

On or around January 1, 2024, 484(f) Committee Changes to the HTS and Schedule B will go into effect.

In preparation, Agriculture Marketing Service (AMS) is working with CBP to update the affected HTS codes in the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) system and with 1-USG to adjust flagging for commodities covered under AM4 (USDA/Agricultural Marketing Service data related to marketing orders is required).

These changes will affect the filing of the listed commodities under various Marketing Order (MO) message sets.

AMS will send out another CSMS message once the new HTS codes are modified.
