CSMS # 58166135 - AESDirect Link Moved from Legacy to Modernized ACE Portal

On October 21, 2023, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) removed the AESDirect launch button in the legacy ACE Portal. Trade users are now able to launch the AESDirect User Interface (UI) from the modernized ACE Portal only.

Below are the steps to launch AESDirect from the modernized ACE Portal:

Step 1 – Log into the modernized ACE Portal at: https://ace.cbp.gov/

Step 2 – Select “Exporter” under the “Accounts” drop-down menu

Step 3 – Select the appropriate Exporter account by clicking the hyperlink for the account under the “Account Name” column

Step 4 – On the right side of the screen, select “Submit AES Filing” to launch AESDirect
