CSMS # 57838880 - RESOLVED - Prior Notice System is Currently Experiencing Technical Difficulties
The issue below is resolved. FDA’s Prior Notice processing system is operational.
Due to technical difficulties, FDA’s Prior Notice system is not processing prior notice. This computer outage is estimated to be fixed within the next few hours.
During this time, until the problem is fixed:
- Prior Notices generated through ACE will be queued and sent to CBP when the fix is complete.
- The Prior Notice System Interface (PNSI) will accept PN submissions; however, PN responses will be delayed until the system is fixed.
Prior Notice impact during this time:
- Prior Notices can be submitted via the Automated Broker Interface (ABI)/Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) or via the FDA Prior Notice System Interface (PNSI); however, PN confirmation will wait until after the fix.
- There will be a delay in review of Prior Notices until after the fix. This delay may lead to Prior Notices being reviewed beyond expected timeframes (Truck/Land: 2 hours, Rail/Air: 4 hours, Sea: 8 hours).
- Please do not resubmit Prior Notice as this will cause additional delays
