CSMS # 57831410 - Prior Notice System is Currently Experiencing Technical Difficulties
Due to technical difficulties, FDA’s Prior Notice system is not processing prior notice. This computer outage is estimated to be fixed within the next few hours.
Until the problem is fixed:

Prior Notices (PN) generated through the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) will be queued and sent to CBP when the fix is complete.

The Prior Notice System Interface (PNSI) will accept PN submissions; however, PN responses will be delayed until the system is fixed.
Prior Notice impact during this time:

Prior Notices can be submitted via the Automated Broker Interface (ABI)/ACE or via the FDA PNSI; however, PN confirmation will wait until after the fix.

There will be a delay in review of Prior Notices until after the fix. This delay may lead to Prior Notices being reviewed beyond expected timeframes:

Truck/Land: 2 hours

Rail/Air: 4 hours

Sea: 8 hours

Please do not resubmit PN, as this will cause additional delays.
