CSMS # 54964247 - Extension for Modernized ACE Portal Broker Employee Reporting Requirements to be Satisfied by 4/14/2023
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is extending the broker employee reporting requirements in the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) Portal to give brokers additional time to comply with the requirements and allow for implementation of technical fixes in ACE. All brokers will have until April 14, 2023, to satisfy the employee reporting requirements.
On February 2, 2023, CBP deployed employee reporting functionality in the modernized ACE Portal. Details on the deployment can be found in CSMS #54952300.
CBP is currently working on the following fixes for broker employee reporting functionality and will advise the trade community when the solutions are in place:
- Run a script to populate the missing employee Date of Birth and Place of Birth on the employee records that were migrated from the local permit(s)
- Remove duplicated employees from a broker’s employee list
For more information about the recent broker reporting/national permit changes, review the Customs Broker Modernization webpage. For technical issues, contact the ACE Account Service Desk (ASD) at 866-530-4172 or ace.support@cbp.dhs.gov. For policy questions contact the Broker Management Branch at brokermanagement@cbp.dhs.gov.
