CSMS # 54104136 - Partner Government Agency Tariff Flags Now Appended to Two Error Codes in Certification Environment

This message announces changes in U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP) Automated Broker Interface (ABI) Certification (CERT) environment. Effective immediately, the P00 and PU2 error messages now include the partner government agency (PGA) tariff flag. There is a separate P00 or PU2, per flag error. For example:

The text for the PU2 error has been shortened to accommodate the 40-character length, when the flag is added.

This code is expected to be available in the Production (PROD) environment in January 2023. Another CSMS will be issued when the specific date is available. CBP will also update the Error Code Dictionary following the PROD deployment to reflect the changes.
