CSMS # 53703771 - ACE Export Rail X12 – Updates to Rail X12’s Input Messengers 309, 353 & 358 and Out Messengers 350 & 355 to include changes to Interchange Control & Functionality Group Headers
On October 20, 2022, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) published updates to the Rail X12 Input Messengers: 309, 353 & 358 and Output Messengers: 350 & 355. These updates are available for Testing in CERT and will be implemented into PROD on date TBD.
The following changes were made to Input Messenger 309, 353 & 358:
- ISA07 “Interchange ID Qualifier“- Removal of “02” and add ZZ required for both CERT & PROD
- ISA08 “Interchange Receiver ID” – Updated Production to USCXP & Testing USCXT
- GS03 “Application Receiver's Code” - Updated Production to USCXP & Testing USCXT
The following changes were made to Out Messenger 350 & 355:
- ISA05 “Interchange ID Qualifier“- Removal of “02” and add ZZ required for both CERT & PROD
- ISA06 “Interchange Receiver ID” – Updated Production to USCXP & Testing USCXT
- GS02 “Application Receiver's Code” - Updated Production to USCXP & Testing USCXT
