Due to planned maintenance, FDA’s ITACS (Import Trade Auxiliary Communications System) and ITACS account management functionality will be unavailable Saturday September 17, 2022, 11:00 PM to Sunday September 18, 2022, 2:00 AM EDT.
If documents must be submitted during the downtime, they can be submitted to the local FDA office at the port of entry via that office’s preferred alternate communication method. Contact information for all FDA import offices can be found on FDA’s Import Offices and Ports of Entry web page: Import Offices and Ports of Entry | FDA.
Following the release ITACS will be able to provide authorized ITACS account holders a downloadable history of FDA Line Statuses and ITACS Statuses for selected entries/lines.
Note: If ITACS has not received arrival notification for truck and air shipments it will display the text 'FDA entry status information is not available pending receipt of Conveyance Arrival Notification.' in red and the history report will state 'No public status available'.
ITACS accounts can be requested via the FDA Unified Registration and Listing System (FURLS) at FDA industry systems - Accounts management for those who have not already created an account. Please follow the instructions provided in the ITACS Account Management Presentation at ITACS | FDA to request an account.
