CSMS #50993800 - Correction – Action Identifier error on ACE portal upload requests

CBP is aware that that the trade is receiving the error “Action # is invalid. Action Identifier must be 12 characters” when attempting to upload documents via the ACE Portal.

As a result of a recent deployment, uploading documents via the ACE portal is unavailable. Trade is advised to use DIS to upload documents in response to UC2 Docs Required, CBP Forms 28s, 29s, or 4647s. When Forms Modernization deploys in April 2022, the ability to upload documents via the ACE portal will be restored.

To avoid further confusion, the current ACE portal trade user interface will be updated to temporarily inactivate the ability to upload documents. This ability will return when the Forms Modernization deploys in April 2022.
