CSMS #49084827 - Microsoft Edge will become the official browser of the ACE Secure Data Portal
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has received several inquiries about the retirement of Microsoft’s Internet Explorer 11 Browser and how the change will impact users of the ACE Secure Data Portal.
As part of Microsoft’s official announcement regarding browser support, Microsoft Edge will be officially replacing the Internet Explorer 11 desktop application on Windows 10. Microsoft has announced that the Internet Explorer 11 desktop application will go out of support on June 15, 2022. Moving forward, CBP is recommending the use of Microsoft Edge as it will become the official browser supported for users of the ACE Secure Data Portal. More information on ACE Secure Data Portal system requirements can be found on the ACE Frequently Asked Questions page of CBP.gov.
