CSMS #49082542 - Information on COBRA Customs Broker User Fee Changes Effective October 1, 2021
Pursuant to the General Notice (86 FR 40864) published July 29, 2021, a change to the Customs Broker Permit User Fee within the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA) of 1985 will take effect on October 1, 2021.
The Customs Broker Permit User Fee will change from $150.33 to $153.19.
All broker permits issued on or after October 1, 2021, are subject to the new user fee. All payments of the annual user fee for calendar year 2022 (CY22) are also subject to the new fee amount. The CY 22 annual user fee payment due date will be announced in a future Federal Register Notice.
