CSMS #48979698 - Effective September 4, 2021, 5106 mailbox will be disabled
Effective September 4, 2021, the Office of Trade’s Commercial Operations Revenue and Entry Division (CORE) will disable the 5106 mailbox. All future Form 5106 requests must be sent to one of the below locations; please do not send requests to multiple locations since this will cause duplication of work and delayed processing.

Frequently Asked Questions New Request: A completed and signed CBP Form 5106 should be emailed to the appropriate Center of Excellence and Expertise (Centers). The subject of the message should include “New 5106 Add.” Center email addresses can be found at https://www.cbp.gov/trade/centers-excellence-and-expertise-information/cee-directory.
Address Update: To update your address, you will have to complete a new CBP Form 5106. The completed and signed CBP Form 5106 should be emailed to the appropriate Center of Excellence and Expertise (Centers). The subject of the message should include “5106 Update” along with the team assignment of the account so that it can easily be routed to the appropriate division. Center email addresses can be found at https://www.cbp.gov/trade/centers-excellence-and-expertise-information/cee-directory.
CBP Form 5106 Download: If you are experiencing trouble downloading the form, first save the file to your computer. Then, right click on the file and select “Open with.” Select the Adobe product to open the document. Alternatively, you can first open the Adobe product and then open the file in the program.
Customs Assigned Number (CAN) Look Up: If you are a Customs Broker requesting a client’s CAN, please make sure you attach a signed Power of Attorney (POA) to your email request.
