A revised version of the Internal ACE Entry Summary Business Process document has been posted on ACE Central. Version 10.5 can be located under Memos and Guidance – Quick Access – Entry Summary as well as under Publications. Chapters 1-3, 7, 9-11, 13-14, 16-17, 20, and 23 have been updated.

Updates made to cover page, CBP seal, and the format of the entire document.
Chapter 1 (Entry Summary) – Conditions to edit an entry summary and entry summary status notifications added. Links to websites and policy documents updated.
Chapter 2 (Non-ABI Manual Entry Summary – Training Material and Memorandum links added under the References Section.
Chapter 3 (Bonds) – Chapter name changed to Bonds. Updated to include: sub-chapters providing an overview of bonding, bonding authority, and bonding amounts (including guidance on Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) operator bond amounts); information on the deployment of Real-Time Automated Surety Interface enhancements; information on the deployment of ACE validations of Activity Type 1 (importer or broker) continuous bonds; and information on the deployment of Bond Usage information in ACE eBond.
Chapter 7 (Post Summary Corrections (PSC)) – Language updated to 7.13 PSC Status Update section.
Chapter 9 (Antidumping and Countervailing Duties (AD/CVD)) – Added new sections to explain the new functionality for the EAPA and injunction flags that contains hyperlinks to a user guide and an information notice.
Chapter 10 (Liquidation) – Updates to auto liquidation timelines. Added editing an extension or a suspension, liquidation with an open Validation Activity, and the EAPA extension and suspension, and court injunction suspension.
Chapter 11 (Reconciliation) – Updates to refund Merchandise Processing Fee (MPF) for approved USMCA Reconciliation claims.
Chapter 13 (Warehouse Entries and Withdrawals) – Added a new Warehouse Section for the recent ACE capability deployed for Extending the Warehouse Five Year Period in ACE.
Chapter 14 (Drawback) – Update to DIS Implementation Guide link.
Chapter 16 (Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA)) – Updates to new DCMA email address and required submission via DIS of duty-free certificate for commercial shipments under subheading 9808.00.30.
Chapter 17 (North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and United States-Mexico-Canada Trade Agreement (USMCA) Duty Deferral) – Includes references to the USMCA.
Chapter 20 (Collections) – Added a brief write-up of ACE Collections Deployment 2 with links to Information Notice. Updated Section 20.7 with updated link to Reports Guidance.
Chapter 23 (Downtime Procedures) – Updates to weather related incidents/downtime process.
