Only a few days left to file a ‘timely’ Triennial Status Report (TSR). Don’t wait, don’t procrastinate and certainly don’t let your Customs broker’s license fall into suspension status. Save Time, Submit Online.
Triennial Status Reports are considered filed ‘timely’ if filed and the fee is paid by February 28th. As of March 1, 2021 all unfiled and unpaid TSRs will cause the associated license to be moved into Suspended status. Any license in suspended status will preclude the broker from filing entries.
Over 70% of eligible license holders have fulfilled their filing responsibilities, but we’re running out of time. Below are a few frequently asked questions (FAQs) and quick fixes to get everyone on their way to complete their filing online and on time. No need to leave your home or office to deliver or mail your report; be safe and prudent.
Frequently Asked Questions:
What do I need to file my TSR online?
All you need is a login.gov ID, your license number and date of issuance from the printed license, and either your licensed brokerage’s Filer Code (if they will pay the fee on your behalf) or a credit or digital wallet (AMAZON Pay or PayPal) account if you will pay for your own fee.
Upon accessing the system, what do I do if I receive the message: “No match for the license information”?
Attempt to reenter your license information. If the error persists, contact the Revenue Modernization (Rev Mod) Service Desk (RMSD) at revmodservicedesk@cbp.dhs.gov or via phone at 1-800-366-8732 ext. 4670. Leave a message if after hours (working hours: 8am – 4:30pm, EST). Include the name on your license, license number, date of issuance, and a copy of your paper license, if available.
My License qualifies for the Corporate License. Do I have to file a report for my individual license and the corporate license?
Yes, A TSR and fee must be filed for each license that is not canceled or revoked. You will file a report for the individual license and a separate report for the corporate license. The eCBP system requires submission of the individual license TSR prior to submitting the Corporate/Organization TSR.
