CSMS #45967496 - INFORMATION: Addition of New Protest Issues in the Protest Module

The purpose of this CSMS message is to advise the trade community of the addition of three new Protest Issues in the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) Protest Module.

INFORMATION

When creating a protest in the ACE Protest Module the Protest Issue is a required field. The protest filer select the issue(s) the protest pertains to from a dropdown list. The Protest Module has been updated to include the Protest Issues of 201 Remedy, 232 Remedy, and 301 Remedy for utilization when creating a protest pertaining to the associated sections of the trade remedy measures imposed under Sections 201 or 301 of the Trade Act of 1974 (“201 Remedy” and “301 Remedy,” respectively), or Section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act of 1962 (“232 Remedy”).

Questions concerning the Trade Remedies should be directed to traderemedy@cbp.dhs.gov. Questions concerning protests should be directed to ot-protest@cbp.dhs.gov.
